What's actually wrong — and what to do about it.

Photos and a short description from you. Within minutes you get a written report from me: specific diagnosis, multiple ordered fixes, parts and costs, when it's a DIY and when to call a pro. Same sequencing-first read I'd give a friend over the kitchen table.

Common Questions

What does the report actually contain?

A specific diagnosis (not "could be one of five things"), multiple ordered fixes — each with parts, costs, time, and step-by-step instructions — when to call a pro, red flags if you hire it out, and a recommended Hammond RE-Engineered guide if there's one covering your situation. Photos get numbered annotations highlighting model numbers, worn parts, and what you should be looking at.

How fast is "instant"?

Usually 2–4 minutes after payment. You'll get an email with the PDF attached. If something goes wrong on my end, you'll hear from me before you'd hear from anyone else.

What's the $49 reviewed add-on?

The base $9.99 report is generated and emailed to you within minutes. With the $49 upgrade I personally review the report before it goes out, add notes from my own experience, and email the finalized version within 24 hours. Best for higher-stakes situations where you want a second set of eyes from someone who's done the work.

Will it tell me to call a pro for everything?

No — that defeats the point. The whole tone is "here's what I'd do if this were my own house." When something genuinely needs a licensed pro (gas, structural, anything that'll fail an inspection if done wrong), I'll say so and tell you what to look for in the contractor you hire.

What if my photos aren't great?

The report will be honest about it — confidence level "low" is a legitimate output. Better photos = better report, but I can usually still help. If a critical detail isn't visible, I'll tell you exactly which shot to retake.

Is my project too big or too small for this?

Single repair to whole-room scope is what this is for. If the scope is bigger than a single room remodel, the report will tell you so and recommend the $149 consult instead.
