Fixing the Yard That Kept Flooding
September 2018 – July 2020 · 5 photos · yard and landscape
Every hard rain, water pooled along the chain-link side of the house and ran toward the foundation. I documented the flooding so I'd know where the low spots really were, then pulled the sod off the front, opened a trench along the foundation, and reset the grade to push water out to the street instead of into the basement. New drain line went in while the trench was open.

During Stripped the front sod down to dirt so I could reset grade at the stoop.
