Once the walls and ceilings were rough-in approved, I rocked everything in 1/2" drywall, taped, and ran three coats of mud. Sanded between coats, primed with Kilz, then color went on. The boys helped tape the ceiling lines and ran a roller. New pine craftsman trim around the windows and doors to finish it off.
