Shiplap and Paint in the Attic

20 photos · attic

Once the walls were closed up I ran white shiplap on the kneewalls, the vault, and down through the stairwell. Caulked every seam, primed, then rolled the whole thing white — walls and ceiling — to keep the space bright with limited window area. The stairwell got the same treatment so the attic read as one continuous run from the second floor up.
