The original kitchen was small, dark, and walled off from the dining room. After I gutted the wall between them I framed a wider opening, ran new electrical and plumbing, and installed white shaker cabinets with a glass-front hutch. Built a fridge surround so the box would sit flush. Refinished the original oak floor under it. The arched doorway from the original house got rebuilt to match.
