First thing I tackled at the cottage was getting back in. A big trunk had come down across the bottom of the driveway and the whole entry between the stone walls was buried in sod and weeds. I cut it back, hauled out the debris, and re-graded the gravel between the walls so trucks and the dumpster could actually get up to the house.

Before Front yard before I touched it: overgrown, the stone steps swallowed up, and a pretty tired cottage sitting behind it all.

During Running the string trimmer along the gravel edge to take the sod and weeds back to where the driveway is supposed to start.

During Driveway entry between the stone retaining walls cleared back. You can finally read the original lines of the property.

During Re-graded the dirt drive so trucks can get up. Tools laid out so I could keep raking until it sat right.
